Psalm 14:5 God is present in the company of the righteous.

Sigh!
Meditating on the Scriptures is one thing and writing something on it is totally another.

Let me get back to my greetings on line: "Shalom!"

The very first sentence of this psalm reminds me of the days when I was so-called a teacher at a Bible Study. One day my group was studying a short message titled "The Existence of God", in which I met the passage saying,'THE FOOL says in his heart,"There is no God."'
Yes, it is the first verse of the 14th Psalm. This simple statement really struck me at that time. It was when a brand-new implication of the word 'fool' had been carved in my brain and in my heart.
'Fool' the term disdains a person. People give this name to any who fails to acquire a certain level of IQ or/and knowledge, standardized norms of the society. But is this the real meaning of 'Fool'?
When it came to this question, my answer was "NO". And another roll of scripture was unfolded in my mind.
"The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding."(Proverbs 9:10)
Now the real FOOL, to me, had nothing to do with IQ and socialization of a person. The insulting word is for people who deny God and another group of people who never preach the Gospel nor pray.

I'd like to introduce a paragraph of the message 'The Existence of God' here:

"Some men are so blind that they may deny the existence of the sun in the sky, but that does not alter the fact that the sun exists, rises and sets every day. Men deny the existence of God not because they cannot find Him but because they are afraid to face a responsibility of being accountable to Him after death."
